Like the electric vehicles coming to Don Mealey's Sport Mitsubishi in Orlando, FL, one city in America will be the setting for the introduction of a revolutionary vehicle - Mitsubishii EV.

Normal, Illinois is being converted into EVTown. An EV community, set up by a coalition of businesses, government representatives and other interested parties, Normal citizens believe electric vehicles are the future of travel, and can bring a us together while saving the world.

The 2012 Mitsubishi i was named the "Most Likable Car On The Planet" - this vehicle will turn Normal, Illinois into the EV capital of the US. Mitsubishi plans on bringing 1000 electric Mitsubishi i's (previously known as the MiEV - Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle) to the region and installing 30 safe and convenient charging stations.

"Normal EVTown is a community that is embracing new technology in an environmentally sound way. It is a way of imagining the future and Normal is that future," said Chris Koos, Mayor of Normal.¹
